The Richmond campus of National College, offering career education since 1976, is just off Exit 87 of Interstate 75. The town is in historic Madison County, home of Fort Boonesboro State Park and The White Hall Shrine, and is nestled on the western slope of the Daniel Boone National Forest. The fundamental purpose of National College is to educate men and women for the duties and responsibilities of business life and to help place them in positions where there is opportunity for advancement.
The College attempts to instill in these graduates the ability to take the initiative in formulating their lives and to change in order to meet the challenges and demands of modern business. Our aim is to have the resources and curriculum, staff and faculty that motivate students to be fully prepared for well-defined fields of employment.
This one-year program is designed to prepare students to gain employment as a pharmacy technician. A pharmacy technician supports and assists the licensed pharmacist with ordering, stocking, and packaging prescription and over-the-counter medications. Other duties may include inventory control, maintaining records, preparing labels, and processing insurance claims.
The classes in this program can prepare you to successfully complete the Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) examination.
